She is a content consultant at Archie Group, a reputation capital firm for financial services and fintech brands. Suzanne holds an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University and a BA in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She resides in Connecticut with her husband, two children and stepson.
Jocelyn DeGroot, PhD, Grief Expert
Dr. DeGroot is a professor of Communication Studies at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She teaches classes on interpersonal and online communication, and the communicative aspects of death and dying. Her grief research has been included in Psychology Today, The Atlantic, Prevention Magazine, WebMD Magazine, PBS Nova Next, and The Huffington Post. Her opinion article, What should you say when someone you know is grieving, was recently published by The New York Times. She lives in Illinois with her husband and two kids.
Michelle Adelman, Creative
Publishers' Weekly called author Michelle Adelman's first novel, Piece of Mind, "a moving story of grief, resilience, and self-actualization." Michelle has also worked as a magazine writer and editor, a university instructor, and a high school English teacher and dean. She grew up in Connecticut and has lived in New York, the Bay Area, and San Diego, where she currently resides with her husband and sons. She holds an MFA in Writing from Columbia University, and a BS and an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University.

Lauren is the founder of TherapyfindR.com and a speech pathologist in NYC. She spent nearly 10 years as a trading analyst at Van der Moolen and Goldman Sachs. She holds an MS from Teachers' College of Columbia University and a BS from State University of New York College at Genesco. She lives in NYC with her family including two children and a new puppy.

Dori is a former elementary school teacher in London who moved to NYC looking for a career change. She is leading social media for Wishbar while also working as an account executive for Archie Group, a reputation capital firm for financial services and fintech brands. She is the former project manager of Dance Parade, Inc. Dori holds a BA in Education from the University of Granada, Spain.
